History of The Mill House

Listed Building:

House, formerly the mill house. Mid to late C19, possibly an addition to an C18 house.

In 1851 John Grayston was a journeyman miller at the Mill House in Castle Camps.

In 1861 the family were at the mill in Wicken, Essex

In 1871 the family were at the mill in Little Linton

In 1911 George and Cecilia were living in Eaton Socon.

Walter would go on to train as a gardener and after WWI became head gardener at Anglesey Abbey. He died in 1957 and is buried with his wife at Lode.
