White Hill Farm, Great Shelford

History of White Hill Farm

White Hill is the source of the springs at Nine Wells.

The site of the farm is very old and would have been situated here to take advantage of the higher dry land when the valleys around would still have been marshy and choked with vegetation.

Sources: Hobson’s Conduit, W D Bushell 1938

A printed formal wedding invitation document with handwritten text naming Mrs. Tongues, set against a plain light background.
