In 1922 Michael Stewart Layton-Smith was born in Coventry. However after Michael’s marriage to Ivy in 1918 they were living at Iona Cottage, Gresham Road.
In 1925 the family were living at 8 Tenison Road
By 1931 the Layton Smith family were living at 218 Milton Road
