William Peddle married Alice Runham at Holy Trinity on 2 April 1889.  He gave his address as 44 Ainsworth Street.

They moved to 172 Sturton Street. By 1911 William was the Assistant Inspector of Boy Messengers at the Post Office, and baby William had become a town postman.

William and Alice are buried in Mill Road Cemetery.
