1891

In 1891, living at number 80 is the Smiths. Abraham Smith, aged 36, from St. Ives, runs the bakeshop with his wife Zerah, aged 35, from Bottisham. They have four children: Ellen, 13; Sidey, 11; Arthur, 11; Edward, 2. All of their children are listed as scholars.

1901

By 1901, little has changed. Abraham Smith, now 45, still works as a baker, though Arthur, now 20, also works alongside him. Sidney, now 21, works as a Butcher. Zerah and Abraham have since had another child, 6 year old Elsie May.

1911

By 1911, Zerah has sadly passed away, leaving Abraham as a Widower at 56. Living alongside him is Ellen, now 33, and Elsie May, now 16, as well as Edward, now 22, who works with his father in the Bakery.
