History of 11 Orchard Street

1957-1995

This was the home of Beryl Sanders (nee Hobday) until her death. She and her daughter had moved here from 59 Holbrook Road after the sudden death of her husband. She was an avid gardener, following in the family tradition.

A row of low, brick cottages with tiled roofs and prominent chimneys lines a narrow street with small front gardens and paths.
