Listed building:

House, formerly public house. c.1830. Brick, now painted, and hipped, slate roof with two internal stacks.

In 1859 the pub was sold for £790 and was described as ‘a new and substantially built brick and slat house, containing club rooms, tap room, a parlour …..’ It was later owned by Phillips Brewery of Royston. It became a private house in 1954.
