46 Jesus Lane, Radegund Gate

History of 46 Jesus Lane

This house was the home for many years of the clergyman and cricketer, Arthur Robert Ward. He is certainly resident here for the years 1868-1882. He was curate of All Saints 1856-60 and then, until his death, vicar of St Clement’s.

See Mill Road Cemetery entry. [45 Jesus Lane here should be 46]
