The Limes, 3 Oxford Road

History of The Limes

1913 The Limes

Charle Lockhart Roberson

This was lived in by Alderman Frank Doggett, who became a mayor of Cambridge. He was a guest of honour at a party given to soldiers returning home after WWII. It was organised by those who raised money for the Oxford and Windsor Road homecoming fund and was held at the Dorothy cafe. All returning soldiers were given a pen with their name on.
