The couple live there together until William’s death in 1894, aged 48.
In 1901 the 69 year old Catherine is living here with Sarah Earl. Sarah is 73 and described as a boarder. More information about Sarah on the Mill Road Cemetery website. Sarah was buried there in 1905.
Catherine died in October 1907.

PTE. G. F. GOODLIFFE – Mrs. G. F. Goodliffe of 114 Sturton Street has received official notification of the death of her husband, Pte. George Frederick Goodliffe, Worcester Regiment, who was reported mssing since August 27th 1917. Mr Goodliffe, who was 29 years of age, was in business as a grocer at 112 Sturton Street before joining up. He joined the Cambs. Regiment in January 1917, and was transferred to the Worcesters in June of that year, and went to France durectly afterwards, and was killed in the fighting around Ypres on or about August 27th.
