Pair of cottages. C17. Timber framed with panelled plaster. Long straw thatch roof.

This is where John Chivers, father of Stephen, came to live at 59/61, Cottenham Road with his brother and sister around 1817.

In 1851 John Chivers, 60 was living at 5 Cottenham Road; William Chivers, 59, was living at 6 Cottenham Road.

In 1851 as well, Stephen and Rebecca Chivers, wife, were living at 10 Cottenham Road. There was a Philip Chivers living 9 Cottenham Road.
