1917
William Peddle joined the London Regiment in 1915. He was shot in December 1916 which injured his radial nerve. Some paralysis set in and he was discharged from active service in 1917. My May 1919 he had developed sarcoma that was related to his original injury.

William Alfred Hugh Peddle: Rifleman, 8th London Regiment. Died from wounds 24/09/1919. Age 29.
He lived at 39 Herbert Street, Cambridge with his wife Lydia Margaret and son Arthur Henry. In 1911 William Peddle was living with his parents at 172 Sturton Street.
