Ravenswood was one of the first large houses built in this part of Cherry Hinton Road. It was occupied in 1891 by James Sendall, horticultural builder b.1843, with his wife, four daughter and their servant. In 1901 we find William Paget commercial traveller and then in 1911 and 1913 Victor Roe, the district auditor.
It was one of four large houses demolished in the late 20th to allow for the building of the residential home Normanhurst.
