Dr Graham-Smith wrote wrote numerous papers on subjects such as diptheria, transmission of disease by flies and, in 1903, a report on ‘the micro-organisms in the air of the House of Commons’, Journal of Hygiene iii: 498. He was university lecturer in hygiene and secretary to the sub-syndicate for tropical medicine. There is a fund in his name, set up by his will, to resource work on bacteriology and pathology.
Dr Graham-Smith was living at 254 Hills Road in 1920. He is on the electoral living at Forvie, Hills Road, in 1939. The editor assumes that this was the same property in the absence of any other evidence.
