Dovecote, now a dwelling. C.1650 restored mid C20.
Converted into a dwelling in 1977. It had nesting boxes for 750 pairs of pigeons which could be reached for egg collection by a potence – a ladder on a rotating central structure. The conical roof is covered in ‘fish scale’ tiles rising to the the attractive cupola.
