Little Lane, Melbourn, cottage made of clay lumps

This cottage was in Little Lane, precise location unknown. made from clay bats, the walls needed to be sealed so were plastered with a mix of cow dung, horse hair and earth. If water penetrated the walls could collapsed suddenly.
