History of Burwell windmill

Listed Building

Tower mill, early C19. Clunch, plastered and tarred. Domed cap with finial. One sailstock of original four, and shafts for fantail and gearing. Under restoration.

Burwell Mill c.1890 (MoC)

Mr Heeks, miller, is pictured standing at the entrance to the mill. The mill was rebuilt in c.1897.
