Arthur Matheson Fison

Arthur Fison had grown up on Fison Farm. He is believed to have served as a temporary lieutenant in the Cambridgeshire Regiment in 1916. He married Ellen Mary Arnold in Cambridge in June 1926 and they had four children.

He died at Manor Farm in 1978 at the age of 86.

In 2021 a 1911 Hawkes and Son ‘echo’ cornet inscribed A M Fison, Fen Ditton was acquired by a collector who contacted CapturingCambridge.org. (Photos by permission of the owner)
