1959 Royal Commission on Historical Monuments Survey of Cambridge: no. 20 … the shape of the building and the way it conforms to the row of 16th cent. houses in which it stands are the main evidence for suggesting a 16th cent. origin, though it is built against, and therefore later than, no.21.
