According to 1959 Royal Commission on Historical Monuments Survey of Cambridge, no.32 is timber-framed, built early in the 17th century and remodelled in the 18th. It has remarkable accomplished 18th century ‘mathematical’ tiling on the front to Hobson Street. Ground and first floor are lined with 18th century panelling.
