By 1914-15 the Nutcombe family seem to have moved to 15 Beche Road from 24 Beche Road according to the electoral register. In 1915 Thomas Henry Nutcombe attested for the Cambridgeshire Regiment but was posted to the Northants Regiment in January 1917.
