The McCasey Family
1881
Stephen McCasey, a 46 year old railway servant originally from Scotland, lives here with his Cambridge-born wife Sarah Elizabeth (nee Cawthorne). Sarah is 39 and the couple have a one year old daughter called Maud.
1891
In 1891, 65 Kingston Street is still home to the McCasey family. Stephen is now 54. While he is listed as married on this census, Sarah actually died in 1890, aged 49. Their daughter Maud is now 11.
1901
By 1901, Stephen McCasey is 61 and a widower. He now works as a railway store keeper.
Stephen died in 1906 aged 67.
1911
By 1911, 65 Kingston Street is home to George Levitt, a 55 year old Corporation Labourer from Canning Town, then in Essex. He is married to Eva Levitt, a 48 year old from South Lincolnshire. They have one daughter, 12 year old Alice, who is in school.
