Cambridge Road (Cherry Hinton Road). It is not clear whether this is the same house as in 1891. It is possible that since there were so few houses in this immediate area at the time, the property was reached on a track from Cherry Hinton Road. In 1871 Edward Baldock was living in Sturton Street Cambridge with, according to the census, his son Frank, 2, sister Emily, 15, and a lodger George West. At that time he was a railway porter.

Wedding: At St John’s Church last Monday, Agnes Baldock , youngest daughter of Mr E Baldock, St Leonard’s Blinco Grove was married to Frederick William Oldham of Kilburn London. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a pretty dress of cream cashmere, trimmed with insertion. She also had a wreath of orange blossom. The bridesmaids were dressed in lace blouses and grey skirts with hats to match. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J.George (vicar). Mr Cope presided at the organ. The presents were numerous and useful.
