Leach’s Mill, Wisbech

History of Leach's Mill

Listed Building

Tower windmill sited on a mound, rebuilt after a storm in 1797. Dark red brick tower with a pronounced taper. Eight storeys, originally with eight sails and balcony at third floor where entrance door remains.

Originally a corn mill, last used in 1965; the Mill House was demolished c.1969.
