In 1911 George was at school in Bedford

George Mortlock Goode: Lieutenant, 43rd Squadron, Royal Flying Corps and General List. Killed in action Thursday 24th May 1917. Age 23. Only son of Arthur William Goode, of The Poplars, Old Chesterton, Cambridge, and the late Angelina Abigail Goode. Formerly, Bedfordshire Regiment.
