Paradise Houseis located on an island in the River Cam, dated to c1780. Built of Gault brick and with shallow pitched, hipped, Welsh slate roof to front range, gabled M-roof to rear wings with “vee” infilled in brick. The whole house is built off the ground on a brick arched plinth because of regular flooding by the river.
