Alexander Towler 1869 -1920. Died 05.12.1920 at River Farm, Latham Road. Listed in 1901, 1911, 1921 census as at River Farm. Farmed at Grange Farm, Madingley Road then River Farm, Latham Road. Successful breeder and exhibitor of Shire Horses. Special Constable 1914-1919. Married Matilda Lees 1865 (or 6?) – 1941 from Reed in Hertfordshire. Died 05.11.1941 at 4 Montagu Road, Cambridge. (Towler family history note 2024)
