General information about Westminster College can be found on Wikipedia.

Westminster College was able to move to Cambridge thanks to the generosity of two Cambridge residents, twin-sisters Mrs Agnes Smith Lewis and Mrs Margaret Dunlop Gibson, the biblical scholars who lived in Chesterton Lane. In 1892 they presented the site on which the college was to be built, £5,000 towards the building and £15,000 to the College. However it was not until 1895 that the final decision was made and only in 1899 on the eve of opening that the necessary funds were in place.
