Born Bradford, Yorkshire, enlisted Bury St Edmunds, resident Cambridge. Son of Herbert and Amy Wilkinson, of 13, Garden Walk, Cambridge. In the 1911 census he was aged 13, son of Herbert and Amy Wilkinson, at school, born Bradford, Yorkshire, resident 4 Garden Walk, Chesterton, Cambridge.
