History of 53 Victoria Road

Cornelius Hayden and his wife Lucy née Pilgrim moved hear from 1 Gothic Street in the 1880s. Cornelius was a successful carpenter. It is believed by his family that he built Midsummer House on the Cam. But he died in 1889 and his wife Lucy died in 1891.
