Grace Elizabeth Tidbury, 27, music teacher, born Romsey [?]


242 was the home of Miss Tidbury and her mother. Miss Tidbury gave piano lessons and would hold a Christmas party for her pupils at which they were expected to perform. Dorothy Sanders lived locally and recalled Miss Tidbury; Dorothy later became a music teacher and assistant organist at St John’s Church. Marie Burrows (nee Doe) also came here for lessons and recalled Miss Tidbury in
