Red Lion Inn, Brinkley

History of the Red Lion

Listed Building:

Inn; late C16 hall and service end to right hand of central stack and C17 addition to left hand. C19 weather boarded gable lean-to to left hand. Plastered timber frame and painted brick.

A red brick fireplace features a central, dark timber beam with a metal plaque bearing the gold-painted date 1562.
