Lamb Hotel, 1908. An earlier name was ‘The Holy Lamb”.
In the 16th cent. it was known as ‘The Lamb.’

Dr F M Beckett on his rounds passing The Lamb. He had lost an eye in the American Civil War and became later the Surgeon-Commander of the Ely Volunteers.
