Reach Fen hoard

History of the Reach Fen hoard

A late Bronze Age hoard was found in 1867 during coprolite digging about 1 mile N by E of Reach. There were 11 socketed axes, 2 chisels, 3 gouges, 1 hammer, 5 knives, 2 swords, 1 chape, 7 socketed spearheads and some small items.
