Warehouse, early C19. Local brick; hipped slate roof, extended in C20 to east. … Pair of very fine metal-panelled and studded doors in original rear elevation, said to have been taken from the C19 model prison designed by G. Basevi (b.1794, d.1845).

As a result, we are facing a crisis; we have no financial cushion – unlike many other museums in Cambridge – and are facing the need to drastically cut back our operations which could affect our ability to continue to run and develop this groundbreaking local history website.
