War Memorial & Lock Up, High Street, Needingworth

Lock-up dated 1838 on stone plaque.


The War Memorial was unveiled in 1920. Next to the Lock-Up is a Roll of Honour; there are 94 on the first roll, 48 on the second.

As a result, we are facing a crisis; we have no financial cushion – unlike many other museums in Cambridge – and are facing the need to drastically cut back our operations which could affect our ability to continue to run and develop this groundbreaking local history website.
