Ivy Gilbert née Haynes. Ivy wrote verses, painted, did needlework and played the piano and piano-accordion. before marriage she was in service at lattenbury Hall for the Sperling family Ivy died in 1976 aged 63.

When Honeydew Cottage was burnt down, Mrs Olive Hall and her daughter June went to live at the home of Mrs Sarah Haynes.
