History of the Broadway, St Ives

The photo is supposed to show the last Monday cattle market before the new livestock marlet opened in october 1886.

The transfer of the livestock market had a severe effect on the economy of the Broadway. Pubs such as the Unicorn and the Cow and Hare faded away.
