St Matthew, Barnwell

History of St Matthew Cambridge

St Matthew was built 1864-6 by R R Rowe. Pevsner writes, ‘spectacular interior, the sky-lit octagon being faced with vigorous panelling – a kind of pitch-pine version of Ely.’
