In 2026 SS sent this note:

From Cambridgeshire electoral registers, I can see a family named Stephenson (Arthur, Colin and Florence) living at an unnamed “High Street” address in the village continuously from 1949 to 1964. In 1966 the same address is recorded for the first time as “2 Pax Cottages.” Bumble Bee Cottage and the neighbouring Pax Cottage were both first listed as Grade II buildings on the same day, 4 September 1986, and are only about 40 metres apart — which makes me think they may originally have been one semi-detached pair, later divided into two separately named properties, possibly around 1966–1968.
