Meadow Cottage, 58 Wimpole Road, Barton

History of 58 Wimpole Road, Barton

Listed building:

Cottage. Late C17 or early C18, enlarged mid C20. Timber-framed, rendered and reed thatched with rebuilt stack.


1960s:

The Eedles lived in the cottage about this time and installed a electrolytic damp course as well as a Cambridge street lamp. Margaret remembers that the downstairs toilet used to flood in heavy rain. (email from PE 2023 sent with photos)
