Listed building:
Cottage of C18 origins, altered C19. Timber framed and plastered with mansard roof, thatched with long straw.
Reuben Robert Goat, carpenter and undertaker. Family lived here from late 1800s.
Original farmhouse divided in two. Front part was Miss Acker’s sweet shop.
