High Street Over including Alma House

Alma House, 37 High Street, Over

History of Alma

E G Papworth in “The Quartet” (1995) depicts “Alma House” in the High Street. In the photo there is one building missing from the early 21st century streetscape; this seems a likely candidate for the house in question, now replaced with two modern houses.
