Marie Burrows has always lived in this area and enjoyed many houses. After her father died she moved out of their house in Luard Road to a house in Cavendish Avenue. The first time they tried to buy 17 Hills Avenue they were unlucky.

However, visits to the house over several years kept her appetite whetted!
