Statue. Late C19. By Marochetti. Bronze on plain granite pedestal. Inscribed ‘Jonas Webb of Babraham, Born Nov 10 1796, Died Nov 10 1862. By Farmers and Friends in many lands’. Jonas Webb was noted for breeding Babraham Southdown sheep which achieved an international reputation. He lived at Church Farmhouse, Babraham.
