History of 216 Ross Street

The Museum of Cambridge holds a transcript of an interview with Janet Haggar. Janet was born in 1951 and passed away in 2021.

Janet paints a vivid picture of life and work at several Cambridge institutions -cinemas, ball rooms – as well as recalling events such as Cambridge Rapist episode. She describes Romsey Town and her work as a bedder at St John’s College.
