St Etheldreda’s Church Histon

History of St Etheldreda's

The church of St Etheldreda was demolished in 1599 by Sir Francis Hynde who used the materials to extend Madingley Hall. There is an interesting article about the church and the associations of St Etheldreda with Histon here:
