Malta Road

History of Malta Road

In 1891 there are 13 properties listed in Malta Road, nos 1 – 16, Scotland College and Alexandra House.

By 1901 there are many more properties and the enumeration has completely changed to the modern odd and even facing each other. Very few of the names in the households in 1901 correspond to those in 1891 so matching old with new numbers is difficult.
