The old cottages down the road between 101 and 105 Rooks Street were known as Little End, (Cottenham in Focus, 2002)
The Lee family lived in the house in the photo. In 1891 there were two Lee families listed at Little End, one in the ‘Rose and Crown.’
After the typhoid outbreak of 1885 Ezra Lee took water to the Church End district until 1903.
