Glebe Cottage, 3 High Street, Haslingfield

History of Glebe Cottage

Listed building:

Late C16 or early C17, restored and enlarged mid C20. Timber-framed, plaster rendered.

The modern extension of the 1970s linked the original building to the old bake house. The red brick wall was built in the style of the manor wall about 1984. In 1994 there were still two rare Haslingfield Gage plum trees growing in the adjacent orchard.
